## Description

We are seeking a Manager of Transmission Line Engineer to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, solving complex problems related to electric transmission. As a Supervisor and Engineering Lead, you will oversee high-voltage electric transmission line design projects for major utilities. Your responsibilities will include managing a team, performing engineering analyses, preparing bidding documents, and managing client relations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Convey clear expectations, goals, and vision to the team

- Manage the performance of direct reports and provide mentorship

- Motivate and coach skilled professionals

- Manage collaboration and conflict resolution

- Practice behaviours supporting diversity and inclusion

- Display good business acumen and understand project performance metrics

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

- 12+ years of experience in designing high-voltage electric utility transmission systems

- Professional Engineering Registration in at least one U.S. state or equivalent

- Experience with PLS-CADD, POLE, TOWER, SAG10, LPILE, FAD, and Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience supervising staff

- M.S. degree in Structural Engineering

- Track record of outstanding communication skills

- Business acumen with a record of understanding and meeting key project performance metrics
