## Job Summary

The Software Development Engineer in Test role is available at HSBC in Kraków, Poland. You will be responsible for all aspects of test automation framework development and maintenance, as well as developing, planning, and executing automated test cases.

## Responsibilities

- Apply specialist expertise to undertake day-to-day responsibilities of test automation development process, organise and participate in review and analysis of documentation.

- Determine automation needs and ensure smooth project implementations.

- Develop strong planning and resource forecasting techniques.

- Develop software solutions aimed at automating testing and test-related activities.

- Undertake test execution, record and analyse test results, investigate and progress error procedures for faults found, and make recommendations on product quality.

- Report progress and escalate problems to the Testing Team Leader/Manager.

- Develop and maintain good communications and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Participate in meetings concerning project activities.

- Automate test scripts in cooperation with business, development, and environment support teams.

## Requirements

- Working knowledge of testing software like Selenium, JIRA, Confluence.

- Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Type Script, SQL, Selenium, REST, HTML, XML.

- Working knowledge of software development platforms like GitHub, IntelliJ.

- Experience in automated testing of IT Systems and automation framework development.

- Ability to develop and maintain object-oriented application code.

- Ability to execute Test Plan, UAT, and Bug Tracking reports.

- Fluency in spoken and written English.
