## Description

The Derivative Trading Operations team at HKEX operates the regions' premier derivative markets with expanding global reach. We are seeking a high-calibre professional to manage the operations for the trading of futures and options on various underlying assets or indices, and develop the rules and policies for derivatives market trading.

**Job Duties:**

- Execute Morning Shift trading operations and assist the Morning Shift Team Lead in overseeing daily team activities

- Manage operational risks, exceptional cases, and contingency arrangements during live market operations

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, Exchange rules, and operational procedures

- Maintain timely communication with Exchange Participants, internal departments, and external stakeholders

- Coordinate projects, system enhancements, new product implementation, rule and procedure reviews, user requirements, and user acceptance testing

- Drive workflow automation, process improvement, and control enhancement initiatives

- Maintain operating procedures, management reports, and operational documentation, and provide guidance to junior team members as required

**Requirements:**

- University degree holder, preferably in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Information Technology, or related disciplines

- At least 7 years of relevant experience in financial markets, exchange operations, trading operations, derivatives, or related areas

- Sound knowledge of derivatives products, market practices, trading operations, trading platforms, rules, and procedures

- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment under time-critical situations

- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage

- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Power BI, SQL, VBA, Python, or other automation tools would be an advantage

- Shift duties are required; prior shift experience is an advantage
