## Description

A Forward Deployed Security Engineer supports a variety of projects drawing from their wide spectrum of technical experience. They are resourceful, collaborative, and take initiative to improve processes over time. Key responsibilities include achieving Authorizations to Operate (ATO) for Palantir software across multiple government customers with minimal oversight, providing outstanding customer service, policy expertise, and high-quality documentation, and representing Palantir in government assessments and audits.

Palantir is looking for someone with proficiency in interpreting and communicating government policy to a diverse audience, hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise infrastructure and security solutions, and ability to integrate security-as-code and automated compliance gating directly into CI/CD pipelines and GitHub workflows.

The ideal candidate will have an active U.S. DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance and willingness to upgrade and maintain a higher level of access, proven experience with cybersecurity in a US Government context, and willingness and interest to travel as needed to customer sites.
