## Description

The Senior Product Owner - Mendix is responsible for defining product direction, driving functional and technical design, and ensuring the successful delivery and support of MES solutions for Mendix.

The role translates business, operational, and manufacturing requirements into secure, compliant, and scalable solutions while managing product backlogs, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.

The role provides leadership across functional design, platform governance, CSV, solution architecture, and development oversight, ensuring solutions meet quality, security, data integrity, and GxP requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design, configure, develop, implement, and maintain Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions using Mendix

- Create and maintain microflows, nanoflows, and business logic to support business process requirements

- Develop responsive pages, layouts, and widgets for web and mobile applications

- Integrate Mendix applications with REST APIs, SOAP services, databases, and enterprise systems

- Configure and manage security settings, user roles, authentication, and authorization

- Perform application testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities

- Utilize Mendix Studio Pro, version control systems, and deployment pipelines to support the application lifecycle

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, business users, project teams, and vendors to translate business requirements into Mendix solutions and deliver MES projects

- Support application deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades across environments

- Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and support materials

- Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to team members

- Ensure compliance with Good Practice (GxP) requirements, data integrity, cybersecurity, and organizational standards

**Basic Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation, Data Science, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Mendix Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platform

- Experience in database development using Microsoft SQL Server/Transact-SQL (T-SQL) and/or Oracle/Procedural Language SQL (PL/SQL)

- Experience in developing applications on the Mendix platform

- Experience in system integrations, API development, database management, and deployment of enterprise applications within the Mendix ecosystem
