## Description

Priory Hospital Newbury is seeking a Mental Health Nurse to join their team. The hospital, located in Berkshire, offers level 2 rehabilitation services for male adults with mental health needs, supporting them to reintegrate into the community.

As a Mental Health Nurse, you'll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team working together to ensure the smooth operation of the service. You'll assist with day-to-day activities, support care requirements, maintain organisation, and ensure the well-being of the living and working spaces.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering prescribed care within an agreed framework

- Assessing, planning, and delivering nursing care with patients and their families

- Observing and engaging with patients to assess their needs and evaluate progress

- Monitoring and reviewing Nursing Care plans

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration, 6-12 months of post-registration experience, and completion of a preceptorship programme. They should have knowledge of NMC guidelines and professional practices, as well as evidence of ongoing post-registration continuing professional development.
