## Description

We are seeking a Principal Architect to lead the technical delivery of architectural design solutions across all project stages. You will establish and manage the technical design delivery strategy, programme, and outputs in collaboration with project leadership.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and manage architectural projects and project teams, including resource planning and task allocation.

- Provide line management, coaching, and technical guidance to junior team members.

- Drive a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Ensure coordination across multidisciplinary teams to deliver coherent and compliant design information.

- Take responsibility for design quality, technical accuracy, and level of detail across all deliverables.

- Identify potential design risks/issues and lead the team in developing robust solutions and mitigation strategies.

- Oversee production of technical drawings, models, reports, and presentation materials.

- Lead the preparation of 2D and 3D visualisations, sketches, and presentations to communicate design intent to stakeholders.

- Enhance team capability and maintain high technical competence standards.

- Collaborate with project lead to define project scope, programme, deliverables, and resource requirements.

Requirements:

- Qualified Architect (Chartered preferred).

- 12+ years experience in the architectural/construction industry.

- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects.

- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and standards.

- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other BIM tools.

- Strong expertise in UK construction methodologies and procurement processes.

- Demonstrated ability to lead technical design delivery and multidisciplinary coordination.

- Experience delivering tender and construction stage packages.

- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
