## Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineer - Electrical Building Services to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for producing electrical building services designs for Railway Stations and other Railway Buildings, working individually or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Design low voltage reticulation and distribution systems (230/400Volt) including UPS sources

- Operate AMTECH software to produce designs for low voltage systems

- Design general lighting systems

- Design emergency lighting systems

- Work with different lighting types and sources, including LED types

- Operate industry-standard lighting design software

- Design cable management systems (CMS) including trunking, tray, and conduits

- Present designs onto schematic and 2D layout drawings

- Use Bentley Microstation and AECOsim to model 3D MEP services

- Understand BIM and work within a Common Data Environment

- Supervise and verify the work of designers/modellers

- Interpret client specification requirements

- Operate Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Guide Assistant Engineers/Engineers in day-to-day work

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering

- 8-11 years of experience working with electrical design

- Qualifications meeting the requirements for Chartership with an Engineering Institution

- Qualifications in BS7671, BS5266, etc.

- Extensive experience working within a rail station environment

- Good working knowledge of Network Rail, TfL & LUL standards

- Experience contributing to electrical design on multidisciplinary projects

- Good knowledge of rail design assurance processes

- Competent in producing or modifying CAD drawings using an industry-standard CAD system

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
