- 7+ years of experience in thermal analysis or thermo-physics analysis

- Thermal FEA experience with tools like STAR-CCM+, ANSYS, Icepak, or Flotherm

- Familiarity with Matlab or Python for developing analytical models and performing data acquisition and post-processing

- Experience with test-model correlation and test-based characterization of critical modeling input parameters

- Ability to work independently and with various teams and stakeholders

- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with structural, thermal, and optical performance (STOP) models for high-performance imaging systems

- Knowledge of climatic and/or dynamic testing, including instrumentation and data acquisition fundamentals

- CAD skills and ability to make high-quality engineering drawings

- Experience in an immersive interdisciplinary technical project

- Basic knowledge of MIL-STD-810 or equivalent
