As a Claims Director based in Bangkok, you will lead the claims function and manage a team of adjusters. This involves conducting full lifecycle analysis of claims, physical site visits, and general marketing and business development amongst clients.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop and implement claims strategy to optimise claims operations, minimise costs, and maximise service levels

- Coach, develop, and motivate team members to ensure delivery of required standards

- Manage a portfolio of complex claims and strive for high-quality professional work

- Examine insurance policies and documents to determine coverage

- Conduct site visits to inspect damage or loss

- Negotiate claims settlements in line with client contracts

- Respond to insureds, carriers, and brokers in a timely manner

- Provide technical advice to management and team members as needed

- Assist in business development and marketing efforts

- Establish policies and procedures to ensure compliance with best practices and regulations

- Support the organisation's quality program

Requirements:

- Minimum bachelor's degree or holds insurance certifications (e.g., ANZIIF, AICLA)

- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience, with proven experience managing teams and acting as a key interface between senior leadership and operational staff

- Strong people management and coaching capability

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Experience operating in a similar or related market environment is preferred
