## Description

S&P Global Ratings' Financial Services practice delivers forward-looking credit insights across banks, insurers, and other financial institutions. As Sector Lead for EMEA Financial Services/Financial Institutions, you will be the senior analytical voice on European banking and financial sector risk.

**Responsibilities**

- Act as primary analytical spokesperson for the Continental European financial institutions ecosystem.

- Lead thought-leading research on European banking trends and systemic risk.

- Coach and mentor analysts to strengthen sector expertise and credit judgment.

- Lead forward-looking sector analysis and translate sector developments into decision-ready insights.

- Represent S&P Global Ratings' analytical perspective with objectivity and integrity across high-profile stakeholder engagements.

- Connect sector developments to forward-looking risk themes and produce insights that inform monitoring activities.

**Requirements**

- 10+ years of relevant experience in credit analysis, financial research, or analytical leadership.

- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial developments into concise narratives.

- Experience coaching and mentoring analytical teams.

- Fluent English and fluent primary language of the country of application.
