You'll learn on-the-job, developing your knowledge and skills in creating engaging, impactful content across a range of platforms. The Content Creator apprenticeship is designed to equip you with the skills to plan and develop creative ideas, research target audiences, and produce audio, visual and written content suitable for different channels. As a Content Creator apprentice, you'll: - Play a part in creating trusted, high-quality content for BBC audiences. - Grow your storytelling skills through hands-on experience researching, writing, producing and editing content on a range of subjects. - Develop your digital content skills by monitoring audience trends and creating content for social media platforms. - Spot opportunities for digital content, including short clips, behind-the-scenes moments, interviews and talent-led extras. You'll study for your industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job. This means that as well as learning on your placement at the BBC, you'll also attend learning blocks with our learning provider. The TV social team run promotional social media campaigns for some of the BBC's biggest shows. Our goal is to engage younger audiences and encourage them to watch our programmes on BBC iPlayer. To be eligible for an apprenticeship at the BBC, you must: - Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship begins. - Have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years prior to the start of the apprenticeship. - Be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship. - Not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
