## Description

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge RN) for our Progressive Care Unit, you will collaborate with the Director to lead a team of medical professionals. This role involves fiscal, human resource, and operational functions, as well as strategic planning and implementation of new programs.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the Director to provide leadership to the team

- Participate in department and hospital strategic planning

- Implement new programs and services

- Maintain an effective competency and staff development program

- Oversee day-to-day operations, including payroll, department expenses, and employee evaluations

- Assist in maintaining a departmental staffing plan

- Ensure appropriate skill mix and staffing levels

- Foster a positive environment and lead by example

Qualifications:

- Current Colorado Registered Nurse License or valid compact license

- Current BLS, American Heart Association or American Red Cross

- ACLS provider card required within the first 12 months of hire

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or actively pursuing with completion within 3 years of hire

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

- Minimum of 2 years clinical RN experience

- Two years progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
