Our team dedicates itself to creating experiences for guests that are both spontaneous and profoundly personal.

As a Floor Chambermaid, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, care, and hygiene in guest rooms, common areas, and service areas, to ensure guest comfort and meet the quality standards of the resort.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and care for guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned areas according to Mercure brand presentation and hygiene standards

- Restock courtesy products, supplies, and materials in rooms according to room type

- Perform scheduled and deep cleaning activities as directed

- Maintain cleanliness and order of storage areas, trolleys, and equipment

- Use cleaning chemicals, laundry, and equipment safely, economically, and in accordance with procedures

- Report any maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety concerns promptly

- Adhere to procedures for lost and found, guest confidentiality, and key and restricted area security

- Assist guests with requests, including preparing rooms for the night and setting up additional beds or cots as needed

- Support housekeeping operations by cleaning common areas, performing laundry tasks, and delivering linen and supplies as needed

- Ensure common areas, staff areas, and service areas remain clean, tidy, and well-presented

Qualifications:

- Friendly and caring personality; previous experience in the cleaning sector is an advantage

- Ability to anticipate and focus on guest needs, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices, chemical management, and hygiene standards is preferred

- Good time management and ability to complete tasks within deadlines

- Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions and procedures
