## Description

At Braze, we're a customer engagement platform that empowers brands to deliver great customer experiences. We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Email team, which is responsible for building and maintaining the core infrastructure that delivers billions of personalized emails a month.

As an engineer on the team, you will work with your teammates to build out new features, improve performance, and provide guidance on key architectural decisions. You will have the opportunity to tackle significant engineering challenges, such as architecting new iterations of critical components for our systems and optimizing our systems for resilience as they scale.

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain the core infrastructure that delivers personalized emails

- Work with teammates to build out new features and improve performance

- Provide guidance on key architectural decisions

- Tackle significant engineering challenges

Requirements:

- 5+ years of full-stack development experience

- Experienced technical leader

- Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms

- Self-starter with great communication and organizational skills

Nice to Have:

- Professional experience building software at scale

- Experience with Ruby, Go, TypeScript, or JavaScript; MongoDB or Postgres; Ruby on Rails or React

- Experience with agile processes
