## Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $150K – $220K, with additional compensation options including equity and bonus.

## How you'll make impact

As the Counsel, Product Legal (Yield) at Airwallex, you will be the embedded legal partner for the Yield product team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Providing legal support for the global Yield Product team throughout product design, launch, market expansion, and ongoing product changes.

- Advising on legal and regulatory requirements for launching Yield in new jurisdictions.

- Translating complex regulatory requirements into practical product decisions.

- Building trusted relationships with cross-functional teams, including Product, Regulatory Legal, and Compliance.

- Developing scalable legal playbooks and governance processes to minimize risk.

## What we're looking for

### Essentials

- A JD or equivalent law degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

- 5+ years of post-qualification legal experience in a top-tier law firm or financial services legal environment.

- Experience advising on investment products, wealth management, and regulatory compliance.

- Strong regulatory advisory and product counseling experience.

- Ability to work strategically with non-lawyers and translate legal requirements into practical solutions.

### Preferred

- In-house legal experience in fintech or financial services.

- Experience working with banks, broker-dealers, or regulated partners.

- Familiarity with securities, investment-adviser, and investor-protection regulatory frameworks.

- Experience building scalable legal playbooks and product governance processes.
