At Ford Motor Credit Company, we're seeking a Senior Cloud Native Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Enterprise Technology group, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of mobility by leveraging advanced technology to redefine the transportation landscape.
With a focus on delivering working, tested software, you'll work effectively with product owners, product designers, and other technical experts to drive innovation and excellence. Your expertise in cloud native technologies, agile methodologies, and software development will enable you to make a significant impact on our products and services.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop exceptional user experiences with backend APIs using Spring Boot, Angular, React, or VueJS. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance applications and microservices.
As a senior engineer, you'll serve as a mentor for less-experienced peers, sharing your technical knowledge and leadership skills to advocate for technical excellence. Your contributions will help us create vehicles that are as smart as you are.
Responsibilities:
- Work on an Agile team to deliver working, tested software
- Collaborate with product owners, product designers, and other technical experts to drive innovation and excellence
- Develop exceptional user experiences with backend APIs using Spring Boot, Angular, React, or VueJS
- Serve as a mentor for less-experienced peers, sharing your technical knowledge and leadership skills
- Advocate for technical excellence and contribute to the growth and development of the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- Experience with cloud native technologies, agile methodologies, and software development
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
