## Description

You will build and lead the PMO function for APAC at Synopsys, a leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems.

As a Technical Program Manager- Simulation, you will act as an IC role across Japan, Korea, and the broader region, setting the operational foundation for how customer programs are planned, executed, and delivered.

Key responsibilities include:

- Building and implementing PMO methodologies, governance frameworks, and best practices that work across cultures, business units, and customer engagement models

- Overseeing a portfolio of complex customer programs and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, resource capacity, and delivery commitments

- Partnering with the Pipeline and Portfolio team within Professional Services to conduct resource planning, capacity forecasting, and project prioritization

- Providing executive-level reporting, program health assessments, and strategic recommendations to regional and global leadership

- Managing, coaching, and developing a team of Project Managers at various levels

- Creating visibility into program health, resource constraints, and capacity planning that helps leadership make better decisions faster

- Driving a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement that raises the bar for how we manage programs regionally

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field

- PMP Certification

- 10 or more years of Program or Project Management experience, leading complex, customer-facing initiatives

- Strong experience managing executive stakeholders and customer relationships

- Experience leading geographically distributed teams across multiple countries and time zones

- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred skills:

- Experience with EDA, semiconductor, CAE, CAD, PLM, or digital engineering solutions

- PgMP, PMI-ACP, or Lean Six Sigma certifications
