## Description

This pharmacist role at Omnicare, a CVS Health company, will provide routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to centres.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure medications dispensed are clinically appropriate

- Verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy

- Provide accurate and timely drug information to providers and customer facilities

- Check for completeness and precision of all new and refill labels and orders

- Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labelling

- Prepare and/or provide supervision of sterile IV drug products or solutions, as required

- Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs

- Be knowledgeable of DEA and state law with regards to controlled drug dispensing

- Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed by the business

- Follow all applicable state and government regulations including HIPAA

Requirements:

- Licensed pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania, active and in good standing

- Bachelors of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy

Schedule:

- Full-time position offering 33 to 36 hours per week

- Schedule will be Monday-Friday variable shifts, based on the needs of the business spanning day/mostly evening shifts

- The weekend rotation is every third/fourth

- There is no on-call requirement

## Skills

### Required
- Pharmacy licence
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy
