## Description

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to spearhead the evolution of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence.

As a Full Stack Developer at Barclays, you will design, develop, and improve software, utilizing various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

**Responsibilities**

- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.

- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

- Collaboration with peers, participation in code reviews, and promotion of a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.

- Staying informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contributing to the organisation's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.

- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.

- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

**Requirements**

- Experience with Core Java, Multi-Threading, and Spring, Spring Boot.

- Working knowledge of API development using REST/SOAP-based services.

- Strong knowledge of SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL).

- Basic knowledge of deployment with Cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

- Experience working in an Agile development methodology environment (preferably Scrum/Kanban).

- Basic experience with ReactJS/Angular/TypeScript.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent organisational, verbal, and written communication skills.

**Nice to Have**

- Experience with Python-based development.

- Basic knowledge of large language models and agentic AI patterns.

- Experience working in cloud environments with hands-on exposure to AI tools such as AWS Bedrock, Claude Code, or similar.
