## Description

We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our legal team at xAI, working at the intersection of AI and law. As a Corporate Counsel, you will support and lead strategic transactions, handle corporate governance, and provide counsel on complex legal and business issues.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, partnerships, and other strategic transactions

- Partner with corporate development, finance, and operations teams to execute deals

- Drive post-closing integration and build processes for mergers and acquisitions

- Oversee subsidiary maintenance and provide counsel on general corporate matters

Basic Qualifications:

- J.D. from an accredited law school

- 6+ years in Corporate or M&A at a top-tier law firm

- Expertise in complex corporate structures and transactions

- Experience representing mature private and public companies

Additional Requirements:

- Admitted to the bar in good standing in at least one U.S. State

- Office-based, on-site, five days a week

- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Compensation and Benefits:

- $220,000 - $260,000 USD
