## Description

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Wykebeck Court in Leeds. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in driving high-quality care and support for our residents.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit

- Supporting with clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records

- Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, including leading shift handovers

- Helping with training and supervision of new staff members

- Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses

- Assisting residents with personal care duties

**Requirements:**

- Completed or working towards an NVQ3 in care

- Previous experience in a similar role

- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude

- Ability to work in a close-knit team
