## Description

We are seeking a Senior or Principal Transport Planner to join our Passenger Transit Group within the Planning & Mobility team, working across the UK. As a senior member of the team, you will lead the development of transit schemes and projects from inception to completion, working across all passenger modes.

Responsibilities include:

- Leading or contributing to various projects and proposals, delivering high-quality outputs in line with client requirements

- Bringing your passion and knowledge of Passenger Transit to deliver effective outcomes for clients

- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with other WSP service lines to deliver large projects

- Building relationships and playing a leading role in securing and delivering work for large local clients

- Undertaking technical reviews and checking of deliverables within the team

- Supporting the development of junior team members

- Leading financial performance of projects and commercial performance of the team

- Contributing to WSP's key pillars: People, Clients & Growth, Operations, and Expertise

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our Net Zero and Future Mobility growth areas on innovative strategies for public and private sector clients.

**Requirements:**

- Prior experience in passenger transit and mobility planning and design, and transport data analysis

- Understanding of the regulatory and legislative environment for passenger transit services

- Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills

- Experience working with passenger transit clients and leading workstreams or projects

- Project management skills developed across transport and multi-disciplinary projects

- Creative, innovative mindset and lateral thinking
