## Description

We are seeking an Assistant Chef (Bank) to join our team at Ardenlea Grove Care Home in Solihull. As an Assistant Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating a varied and nutritional menu for our residents, training and managing the kitchen team, and ensuring that all mandatory paperwork is up-to-date.

**Responsibilities:**

- Create a varied and nutritional menu in line with dietary needs and preferences

- Train and manage the kitchen team in prepping, cooking, and serving of food

- Manage all mandatory paperwork, including COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies and procedures, budgets, and orders and deliveries

- Cater for special events or seasonal activities, such as summer fetes, Christmas parties, and birthdays

**Key Skills and Qualifications:**

- Previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen

- Relevant hygiene certificates

- Passion for cooking and delivering an excellent dining experience

- Innovative approach to cooking with a focus on high standards

- Excellent communication skills
