## Description

## The Role

As an Account Executive focusing on emerging managers at Carta, you will support prospective clients launching their fund and securing a partnership with Carta. You will introduce prospects to our product offerings, including fund tax, management company services, investor due diligence, and data collection.

## Responsibilities

- Communicate the business impact of Carta's product offerings to emerging fund managers

- Drive revenue through strategic outbound prospecting and own the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to close

- Demonstrate ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building to identify and sell new opportunities

- Develop a comprehensive sales strategy and sales plan to consistently achieve goals

- Understand customer needs and requirements and act as a trusted business advisor

## Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

- Relevant sales experience, preferably in a Financial Technology or relevant SaaS organization

- Experience managing a pipeline of new business leads, negotiating, and closing contracts

- Competitive and driven to achieve goals

- Experience in venture capital, private equity, institutional investing, or wealth management preferred

## Compensation

The cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is: $183,000 ($43.99/hour) - $215,000 ($51.68/hour) OTE in New York City, NY
