## Description

We are seeking an Assistant Housekeeper – Public Area to supervise the cleanliness and upkeep of all hotel public areas at Pullman Kuching, ensuring a clean, safe and pleasant environment for guests and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily cleaning and maintenance of hotel public areas.

- Ensure lobby, corridors, washrooms, lifts, restaurants, function areas and other public spaces meet hotel standards.

- Assign daily duties and monitor performance of Public Area Attendants.

- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.

- Ensure correct and safe use of cleaning equipment, chemicals and supplies.

- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when needed.

- Coordinate with Engineering and other departments on maintenance issues.

- Respond promptly to guest requests and cleanliness-related concerns.

- Train, coach and guide Public Area Attendants on cleaning procedures and service standards.

- Report safety hazards, damages or maintenance issues to relevant departments.

- Assist with deep cleaning and special projects when required.

- Ensure compliance with hotel, hygiene, safety and Accor housekeeping standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Housekeeping, preferably in a hotel environment.

- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

- Good knowledge of public area cleaning procedures and standards.

- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

- Good leadership and team coordination skills.

- Responsible, hardworking and service-oriented.

- Able to work independently and manage daily operational tasks.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

- Open to Malaysian candidates only; preferably local Sarawakian
