## Description

We are seeking a Functional Safety Engineer to develop, implement, and verify safety concepts in safety-related projects. The successful candidate will execute risk assessments and safety analyses, ensure compliance with safety standards, and collaborate with system, software, and hardware teams.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop item definitions

- Develop HARAs

- Develop safety concepts

- Develop safety analysis

- Develop test specifications

- Execute safety tests

- Execute safety R&D tasks

- Identify and report project deviations proactively

- Contribute to lessons learned

- Provide technical support for offers

**Requirements:**

- Completed education in a technical university or equivalent with a focus on mechatronic, physics, software, electronics, or a related field

- Driver's license

- Certified Safety Engineer

- HV Basis Training

- Several years of proven experience in the development of safety-related projects from prototype to SoP

- In-depth knowledge of electrical/electronic development

- In-depth knowledge of system engineering

- In-depth knowledge of safety standards

- In-depth knowledge of AVL safety development processes

- Sound knowledge of software engineering basics

- Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering basics

- Very good English language skills

- Ability to identify and evaluate problems and present solutions to customers

- Willingness to travel
