## Description

Innovate and shape what comes next at AIA. As a Data Scientist, AI Application, you will support the organisation's Technology, Data and Analytics (TDA) transformation by contributing to the design, implementation, and adoption of AI-enabled solutions.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

- **Strategic AI Leadership & Innovation (30%):**

- Support the delivery of AI initiatives by researching emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and business use cases.

- Contribute to AI program and roadmap activities by gathering requirements and documenting opportunities.

- Assist in AI solution assessment and experimentation, supporting prototyping and testing.

- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand user needs and collect feedback.

- Promote awareness and adoption of AI capabilities by supporting knowledge-sharing activities.

- Continuously build AI and digital skills by staying informed of new technologies and best practices.

- **AI Solution Design, Research & Delivery (50%):**

- Support the design and implementation of AI solutions by assisting with requirements gathering and data analysis.

- Conduct research on AI, machine learning, and generative AI technologies, summarising findings and identifying potential applications.

- Deliver proof-of-concept (POC) and prototyping activities, helping to validate solution feasibility and gather stakeholder feedback.

- Contribute to innovation initiatives by exploring new tools and techniques.

- Support solution testing, validation, and deployment activities, ensuring deliverables meet business requirements.

- Develop practical AI user cases through hands-on project experience and continuous learning.

- **Business Communication, Stakeholder Alignment & Change Management (20%):**

- Act as a strategic bridge between business and technology, translating business vision into AI solution strategies.

- Communicate complex AI concepts and solution architectures clearly to senior stakeholders and governance forums.

- Influence long-term technology direction and drive adoption of AI capabilities across AIA Group.

- Act as a thought leader in AI and digital transformation, shaping innovation agendas and elevating engineering and solution design maturity.

**Minimum Job Requirements:**

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, science, or related fields.

- Relevant experience in AI projects delivery role.

- Experience in distributed system tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Redis, Kafka, etc.

- Hands-on project experience in generative AI tech stack.

- Customer focus to understand customer pain points and deliver value-add tech solutions.

- Good team player.

- Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin, or Cantonese.
