## Description

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Property Risks and Coverage team at Davies in Lostock, Bolton. As a paralegal, you will be part of a team handling property damage claims arising from fires, floods, product liability, and other perils. You will support more experienced lawyers in pursuing household and commercial recovery matters.

The team's primary focus is on claimant recoveries, advising well-known insurers on issues such as funding, prospects of success, and evidential matters.

As an assisting role, you will not be required to handle a case load independently but will work on delegated tasks on files belonging to the wider team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Chasing documents

- Collating documents for lawyers to consider strategy

- Diarising court orders and critical dates

- Arranging conferences

- Arranging counsel and expert attendance

- Conducting legal research and completing factual chronologies

- Ensuring compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations

**Working Hours:** 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
