## Description

Boeing India is seeking an Associate Java developer to join their team, focusing on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business organization.

**Job Overview** As a leading global aerospace company, Boeing develops, manufactures and services commercial airplanes, defense products and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries.

**Responsibilities**

- Estimate user stories/features and tasks with the required level of accuracy and commit them as part of Sprint Planning.

- Contribute to Backlog refinement meetings to ensure requirements achieve the right level of Definition of Ready (DOR).

- Work with the Product Owner to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality.

- Identify and raise impediments/risks and approach Scrum Master/Technical Architect/PO to arrive at a solution.

- Update task status and remaining efforts daily.

- Ensure change requests are treated correctly, tracked in the system, and risks/timelines are communicated.

- Develop working software towards committed Team PI Objectives and Iteration plans.

- Deliver working software in accordance with expected quality standards.

- Design for test-ability and evolve the system to support test automation.

- Work on prototyping and evaluating technical feasibility.

**Requirements**

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications.

- 4+ years of related work experience in software development using Java and spring framework, preferably Spring boot.

- Hands-on experience in Web application framework, microservice-oriented architecture, and REST APIs.

- Knowledge of SQL technology, such as Postgres, MySQL or similar.

- Experience working with version control tools such as GIT.

- Knowledge of NoSQL technologies.

- Experience with container platforms such as Docker, PCF, TAS etc.

- Exposure to continuous integration practices and tools such as Jenkins/Bamboo.

- Experience with at least one front-end framework such as Angular, React, TypeScript etc.

- Experience with UI components and ability to decompose a wire-frame into sub-elements.

- Experience using Software Design Patterns, Standards and Best Practices within the industry.

- Hands-on experience with Build and Deployment tools and languages around CI/CD.

- Ability to rapidly learn and understand software from source code.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
