## Description

RBC Dominion Securities, a leading investment and wealth management firm in Canada, is seeking a PIM Trading Associate to join a top investment advisory team in downtown Toronto. The successful candidate will support the business by accurately interpreting instructions from multiple investment advisors and efficiently executing trades while adhering to each client's investment policy statement (IPS). This is a non-client-facing role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage trades and IPSs for a $6+ billion portfolio

- Review IPS and accurately input high volumes of trades for a large PIM portfolio, ensuring adherence to asset allocation rules and special trading instructions

- Generate Investment Policy Statements

- Execute updates to portfolio models based on instructions from Portfolio Managers

- Review trading instructions for errors or omissions prior to trade execution

- Take ownership of trading processes, using judgement to prevent trading errors

**Requirements:**

- IR-licensed or RR-licensed

- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills

- Knowledge of various investment types, including fixed-income, preferred shares, and equities

- Ability to prioritize tasks without supervision and work accurately under pressure

- Trading experience

**Nice-to-Have:**

- 5+ years of industry experience

- Experience in portfolio management

- Familiarity with RBC DS applications

- Intermediate knowledge of Excel

The expected pay range for this position is $37,500.00 - $50,000.00, with an overall earning potential impacted by a variable incentive structure.
