## Description

As a Sr. Specialist in Global Molding Procurement at 3M, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative people worldwide.

**Procurement Category Leadership:**

- Provide category ownership across 3M businesses and divisions, serving as a strategic procurement leader for outsourced molding.

- Drive procurement policies and best practices to meet cost savings, growth, and working capital goals.

- Minimize total product and process cost by initiating cost reduction efforts and implementing innovative procurement best practices.

- Lead supplier selection and own external supplier relationships as the key point of contact for 3M.

- Drive Should Cost Model as appropriate.

**Strategy Execution & Process Improvement:**

- Identify, lead, and implement solutions for complex situations regarding dual-sourcing, negotiation, category strategy, supplier management, and external sources of supply.

- Determine and lead opportunities for process improvements that improve service, speed, or cost.

- Develop strong partnerships with suppliers and internal 3M stakeholders.

- Identify and develop category risk reduction strategies by partnering with 3M stakeholders.

- Drive Cash Improvement in accordance with Global Policy.

**Contracting Ownership:**

- Lead contract negotiations with strategic supply partners, working with 3M division stakeholders and 3M Legal.

- Implement and negotiate agreements to cover complex supply relationships.

This role supports divisions across 3M, giving the successful candidate broad exposure to 3M's diverse businesses and products.

**Your Skills and Expertise:**

- Bachelor's degree or higher.

- Ten years of combined experience in sourcing, procurement, logistics, supply chain, engineering, and/or manufacturing.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed further in this role include:

- Experience in procurement, especially with molding suppliers.

- Experience managing a procurement team.

- Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.

- Initiative, self-starter with a positive and proactive approach.

- Project management experience.

- Experience successfully collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on complex projects.

- Skilled in written and oral communications.

- Financial acumen and comfort with conducting business analytics.
