## Description

Spire Gatwick Park Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Hospital Porter to join our dynamic and experienced Porting team on a permanent Full-time basis.

As a Hospital Porter, you will be a multi-skilled member of the team providing high level, quality support to the hospital working with the minimum of supervision, covering any of the courier, portering, theatre, cleaning and security duties.

Responsibilities include:

- Pushing trolleys and cages

- Escorting patients in a safe and friendly manner

- Managing the post and deliveries

- All waste collection and disposal (including clinical)

- Movement of all goods and equipment when required

- Performing additional tasks as requested

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to provide a friendly ear to patients during what can sometimes be a particularly unsettling time.

Working Hours: Shifts will be a variety of earlies (starting at 6.30am) or lates (finishing at 9pm), 5 out of 7 days per week.
