## Description

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Waverley Grange Care Home in Farnham.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in driving a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality, personal care to our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit

- Supporting with clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records

- Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, including overseeing shift handovers

- Helping with training and supervision of new staff members

- Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses

- Assisting residents with personal care duties

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- An NVQ3 in care (or working towards completion)

- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant

- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude

- Ability to work in a close-knit team and build strong relationships with residents and colleagues
