## Description

Join Joules as a Trainee Buyer in the Menswear team at their Market Harborough Head Office. You will be part of a collaborative Buying department, working with Design, Garment Technology, and Merchandising to create collections that blend British heritage with a modern feel. You will assist in monitoring market trends, learning commercial numbers, nurturing supplier relationships, tracking production progress, and supporting product development.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor the market and keep up-to-date with competitor activity and menswear trends

- Learn commercial numbers and assist with competitor price benchmarking and seasonal analysis

- Nurture supplier relationships and issue purchase orders accurately

- Track production progress and update critical path records

- Take pride in samples and ensure every garment is tagged, logged, steamed, and prepped to perfection

- Support product development and bring back fresh insights from store visits and research trips

- Power team meetings and set up key meetings with the right product selections

Requirements:

- Degree in Fashion Buying, Merchandising, Fashion Management, or a related discipline

- Natural affinity with menswear and appreciation for classic British tailoring

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- High digital fluency and process discipline

- Agile, quick-learning attitude and exceptional attention to detail
