## Description

WSP is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Power & Energy) for our Power & Energy Program Management Office in Amarillo, TX.

This role provides high-level technical project leadership and guidance, managing administrative, commercial, and technical components of assigned projects or portfolios.

Key responsibilities include:

- Overseeing cross-functional teams of technical professionals and subject matter experts

- Leading project proposal development, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans

- Developing work breakdown structures, technical reviews, and QA/QC plans

- Mentoring project team members and performing margin analyses

- Participating in contract negotiations and project kick-off meetings

- Monitoring project metrics, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management

- Maintaining regular communications with clients and stakeholders

- Providing regular project reporting and updates

- Ensuring adherence to WSP's core values and corporate standards

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field

- Essential project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAP-M)

- 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in project management

- Strong understanding of project delivery processes within the A/E/C industry

- Highly developed analytical, organizational, and communication skills

- Proficiency with MS Office suite products and PM tools

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree.

Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
