## Description

Figma is growing its team of creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all.

We're looking to grow Figma's UX Writing team. As a UX Writer, you'll use language to shape how people interact with AI, crafting better inputs and defining clear, consistent outputs.

Responsibilities:

- Contribute to overall product strategy around Figma's offerings

- Define best practices for writing in AI-powered products

- Partner closely with product designers, product managers, engineers, and fellow UX writers

- Oversee language across a broad product suite

- Measure and evaluate the quality of AI-generated language

- Create, collaborate, and iterate on the user experience

- Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience crafting simple, intuitive language solutions for complex user experiences

- Proficient in collaborating in design and technical environments like Figma and GitHub

- Skilled at developing systems-oriented, cohesive product narratives

- Fluent in the behavior and architecture of modern AI products

- Effectively partners with cross-functional teams and leadership

Nice to Have:

- Experience writing system prompts or designing agent behaviors

- Experience working directly with code, APIs, or developer tooling

- A track record of leading 0-to-1 initiatives in ambiguous spaces
