## Description

Join our team at the Mercure Plaza Republique hotel in the heart of Lyon. This 82-room boutique hotel features a lively bar with a summer terrace and hosts various events. As a certified Clef Verte hotel since 2024, we prioritise reducing our environmental impact and serving high-quality local products.

We are seeking a mid-senior level professional to join our restaurant team to work in our bar and serve breakfast from June to August.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and serve drinks at the bar, adhering to brand standards

- Manage bar stock and inventory

- Ensure excellent customer experience, providing warm and personalised service

- Take orders using our software and handle cash transactions

- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment

- Implement hygiene and safety procedures, following HACCP guidelines and hotel security protocols

- Contribute to achieving objectives, such as product knowledge and procedural compliance

For breakfast service:

- Welcome guests with a smile

- Clear and reset tables, replenish buffet, and prepare for the next day

**Requirements:**

- Team spirit and initiative

- Ability to create ambiance and make sales

- Knowledge of bar products and techniques

- Strong English skills
