## Description

We are seeking a House Attendant to join our team at Soho House New York. As a House Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the public areas of the hotel.

**Main Duties:**

- Keep guest corridors neat, vacuumed, and dusted

- Ensure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators, and doors are clean and mark-free

- Maintain service elevator landings, stairwells, and linen storage rooms by sweeping, mopping, and dusting

- Move racks of clean linen to guest room floors and stock linen storage rooms and armoires daily

- Empty trash and dirty linen from guest room floors

- Pick up and deliver guest request items in a timely manner

- Manage the stocking and inventory of linen storage closets and armoires

- Remove linen and trash from rooms and clean bathrooms

- Report any defects in guest rooms or throughout the hotel

- Assist housekeepers as required

- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager

**Required Skills/Qualifications:**

- Regular and reliable attendance

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull at least 30 pounds

- Ability to make periodical fast-paced movements

- Ability to kneel, bend, crouch, and climb

- Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping

- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods
