## Description

We are seeking a full-time Building Technology Systems – Lead Consultant to join our team in Brentwood, TN, Knoxville, TN, or Dallas, TX.

As a Lead Consultant, you will be involved in projects with our Building Technology Systems (BTS) Team and contribute to a growing organisation that meets clients' objectives and solves their challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing designs for Telecommunications systems and Electronic Safety & Security systems

- Marketing our capabilities, winning work, and managing a team of consultants to deliver high-quality projects

- Leading a BTS team of consultants to deliver projects from inception to completion

- Coordinating with clients to gather and document system and design requirements

- Creating design narratives and coordinated construction documents

- Managing project resources, including technical staff and drawing production staff

- Coordinating and participating in project meetings, construction meetings, and site surveys

- Integrating telecommunications and security systems with other intelligent building systems

- Understanding local and national codes and industry standards related to the design and operation of Telecommunications and Security systems

- Managing construction administration duties, including project management, on-site quality checks, and lead construction progress meetings

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- RCDD Industry certification for communications systems subject matter expert

- A four-year degree (B.S. in engineering is preferred) or equivalent combination of technical degree and related work experience designing technology systems for buildings

- Seven to ten plus years of experience actively designing high-performance systems for US Federal Projects and the AEC consulting and engineering industry

- Experience as a BTS team leader capable of leading a team of consultants to deliver projects from inception to completion

- Proven ability to market our capabilities, win work, and manage a team of consultants that will consistently deliver high-quality work to support our clients

- The ability to obtain a U.S. Security clearance

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Revit experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software and Bluebeam Revu
