## Description

KIPP SoCal Public Schools is seeking a Social Studies Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. As a Social Studies Teacher, you will teach knowledge and skills, nurture confidence and character, and inspire passion in students to achieve their goals. You will value and draw upon students' experiences and backgrounds, utilize various instructional strategies, develop and administer assessments, analyze results, communicate with teammates and parents, and implement classroom management techniques.

Responsibilities:

- Teach knowledge and skills, nurture confidence and character, and inspire passion in students

- Value and draw upon students' experiences and backgrounds

- Utilize various instructional strategies to engage all students

- Develop and administer assessments to measure student growth and mastery

- Analyze informal and formal assessment results to inform instruction

- Communicate and collaborate with teammates, parents, and community members

- Implement classroom management techniques to create a nurturing and structured environment

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

- Valid preliminary or CLEAR teaching credential (strong preference)

- Multiple years of teaching experience in similar communities
