## Description

The Partner Cost Manager is responsible for end-to-end cost management across manufacturing partners, encompassing quotation validation, pricing negotiation, cost structure optimization, and profitability assurance.

This role serves as a strategic cross-functional liaison,collaborating closely with Engineering, Finance, IE, Program Management, and Contract Manufacturers (CMs),to ensure seamless capacity ramp-up, operational excellence, transparent CM cost reporting, and disciplined profitability control.

Key responsibilities include:

- Creating short-term and long-term capacity plans, including resource allocation and scaling strategies

- Preparing and presenting capacity reports to support data-driven decision-making

- Reviewing capacity dashboards, tracking progress, and coordinating with multiple teams

- Analyzing CM spending, yield/scrap, and transformation costs

- Reviewing daily CM offline spending quotations and building cost databases

- Driving cost reduction projects and analyzing cost-saving actions

- Working with Finance for monthly open PO updates, quarterly settlement, and yearly spending forecasts

- Supporting the Manager in CM Transformation cost management and quarterly summary reports

The ideal candidate will have:

- A BS/BA or equivalent degree

- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably with an optical/electrical engineering technologies background

- Familiarity with Oracle systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PPT

- Strong negotiation, data analytical, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills

- A high level of motivation, independence, and attention to detail
