## Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $180K - $270K, with additional compensation including equity and bonus.

## How you'll make impact

As a Senior Counsel, Product Legal (Yield) at Airwallex, you will be the embedded legal partner helping the product team navigate complex legal and regulatory questions across product design, partner arrangements, customer documentation, and launch execution.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing legal support for the global Yield Product team from product design and ideation through launch, market expansion, and ongoing product changes.

- Advising on legal and regulatory requirements for launching Yield in new jurisdictions.

- Translating complex, cross-jurisdictional requirements into practical product decisions.

- Building trusted relationships with Product, Regulatory Legal, and other stakeholders.

- Developing scalable legal playbooks, launch checklists, and governance processes.

## What we're looking for

### Essentials

- JD or equivalent law degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

- 7+ years of post-qualification legal experience in a top-tier law firm or comparable financial-services legal environment.

- Experience advising on investment products, wealth management, and regulatory frameworks.

- Strong regulatory advisory and product counselling experience.

- Track record of working strategically with non-lawyers and translating legal requirements into practical solutions.

### Preferred

- In-house legal experience in fintech, financial services, or wealth management.

- Experience working with banks, broker-dealers, or regulated partners.

- Familiarity with securities, investment-adviser, and investor-protection frameworks.

- Experience building scalable legal playbooks and product-governance processes.
