## Description

We are seeking a Style Consultant to join our team at Target. As a Style Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience and driving sales through strong operations and visual merchandising.

The starting hourly rate is $19.75 USD per hour, with a pay range of $19.75 USD - $29.65 USD per hour.

**Responsibilities:**

- Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, inspirational and promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.

- Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and use to solve and support guest needs.

- Sort truck freight, push freight to the salesfloor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.

- Set visual presentations and visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.

- Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.

- Execute and maintain backroom organisation, including locating merchandise to support replenishment, fulfilment, and guest requests.

- Remerchandise presentations as they sell through using remerchandising best practices.

- Support price change processes by executing clearance merchandising best practices.

- Maintain and use the fitting rooms as an opportunity to welcome, inspire, and help guests.

- Support fulfilment and guest needs by ensuring merchandise from the fitting room and guest service are worked back out to the salesfloor throughout the day.

- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.

- Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.

- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up.

- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks.

- Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.

- Thank guests and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target.

**Requirements:**

- Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.

- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards all guests and other team members.

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.

- Effective communication skills.

- Ability to work both independently and with a team.

- Resolve guest questions quickly.

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.

- Climb up and down ladders.

- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely.

- Flexible work schedule; reliable and prompt attendance necessary.

- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements.

- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
