## Description

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Sales- Discover Payment Network to join our team at Capital One Canada. As a Senior Manager, Sales, you will be responsible for accelerating acceptance growth through direct merchant acquisition within target verticals in Canada. You will focus on building a robust sales pipeline, directly engaging high-value enterprise merchants, and executing end-to-end commercial agreements.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Identifying leads, developing proposals, responding to RFPs, and negotiating agreements directly with merchants to maximize network acceptance.

- Strategically identifying and creating innovative business cases to win new merchant acceptance deals with key internal stakeholder buy-in.

- Collaborating with internal teams and gathering feedback from customers or prospects to identify, develop, and implement new sales opportunities.

- Developing strong relationships to maintain and grow account relationships with internal and external partners to meet volume and revenue goals.

- Participating in industry exhibitions and conferences.

This position will require travel up to 50% of the time.

The expected annual salary range for this position is $184,000-$210,000. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es).
