## Description

We are seeking a Commercial Intern to join our General Counsel Commercial Team, a customer-facing team within the Civil Aerospace Customer Team.

**Duration:** January to May/June 2026 **Allowance:** Competitive allowance dependent on education background

As a Commercial Intern, you will:

- Pursue opportunities to maximise profit and cash for the company by managing or supporting pricing and business cases, and instructing and administering new business agreements.

- Negotiate the resolution of claims, disputes, and litigation to minimise cost and risk to the company.

- Manage customer restructurings, rehabilitations, and insolvencies to provide the best possible outcome for the business.

- Support internal approval sessions and identify potential risks and liabilities inherent in commercial solutions.

- Interface with specialist departments to obtain advice and guidance.

- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines.

- Deliver and support continuous improvement and commercial best practice activities.

**Requirements:**

- Interpersonal, diplomacy, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to solve complex problems while maintaining customer focus.

- Highly motivated and capable of working under own initiative.

- Sound commercial judgement and business acumen.

- Proficient in all aspects of administration and Microsoft Office suite.

- Ability to prioritise workloads to meet demanding deadlines.
