## Description

Leidos' Defense Systems Manufacturing Segment is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer for its National Space Systems Integration & Test team located in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate will participate in leading the planning and execution of electrical test operations and develop automated test scripts, procedures, and documentation for spaceflight hardware testing.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

- Manage testing to meet project schedules

- Use MES software (Solumina) for executing test plans

- Generate and modify test routings inside Solumina

- Identify and execute continuous improvement projects

- Identify and reduce risks in production testing processes

- Execute Configuration & Data Management processes and controls

- Define manufacturing processes, procedures, and production flow for testing space products

- Resolve problems related to production jobs

- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations Leads, and Inventory Control

- Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports

- Debug software and/or hardware with various tools

**Basic Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 0+ years of prior relevant experience or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or other engineering degree with 0+ years of prior relevant experience

- Ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment

- Basic experience with Manufacturing, Assembly & Integration, and Test experience with Electrical, Electromechanical, and/or Mechanical components

- Ability to work second shift (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm) and weekend shift (Friday through Sunday)

- Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate

- Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience with test operations, including set-up, calibration, and operation of GSE

- Experience with test execution

- Hands-on experience with electronics assembly processes and equipment

- Experience working inside a clean room

- Familiarity with Deltek, Costpoint ERP & MRP, Solumina, Windchill

- Working knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment

- Working knowledge of software languages such as Python

- Experience with Linux, GIT, and Arduino devices

**Pay Range:** $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
