## Description

As an Electrician Apprentice at Multimatic C-Mech, you will work under the guidance of experienced maintenance Electricians to provide safe, well-maintained equipment to all departments, ensuring quality and meeting production requirements in a timely manner.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Support and work with maintenance Electricians.

- Ensure lighting and power are in proper working order, meeting codes and company procedures.

- Perform electrical work, including repairs on equipment and machinery, under the guidance of an Electrician.

- Complete necessary paperwork, such as work orders and time sheets.

- Assist in implementing continuous improvement suggestions on the production line.

- Submit part requests and follow parts received procedures.

- Perform routine preventive maintenance.

- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized work area.

- Work safely and in compliance with OHSA regulations.

- Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.

- Fulfill apprenticeship requirements.

- Perform other duties as required.

**Basic Requirements:**

- Minimum Grade 12 Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.

- Ontario registered 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Electrical Apprentice or completed Ontario College technical training.

- Ability to rotate day and afternoon shifts.

- Good communication skills.

- Computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.

- Manufacturing experience; automotive industry experience is an asset.

- Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems is an asset.

- Omron PLC & HMI, Keyence camera systems knowledge is an asset.

- Self-motivated and passionate about pursuing a long-term career in the trade.

The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be: $43,971.20 - $70,907.20
