## Description

Job Title: Galley Steward

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Galley Steward to join our team. As a Galley Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the galley, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly sanitized and stored.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the galley, including pots, pans, and other equipment

- Recycle cooking service equipment before, during, and after service

- Assist with unloading and storing food deliveries

- Participate in scheduled deep cleaning in addition to everyday cleaning operations

- Treat all equipment used during the cleaning process and all equipment to be cleaned with care to prevent damage

- Report equipment defects to the Galley Supervisor/Executive Chef/Food Manager on a daily basis

Requirements:

- Must have a thorough knowledge of USPH practices and procedures

- Must have good oral and written command of the English language

- Must be experienced in cruise ship industry galley operation

- Must have a working knowledge of scientific cleaning and sanitation procedures for the food service industry
