## Description

As a Market Street Fishmonger at Morrisons, you will play a crucial role in preparing and selling fresh fish products, offering cooking advice, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

You will report to the Market Street Manager and be responsible for:

- Preparing quality catches: fillet, scale, skin, pin bone, gut, cut, weigh, and price fish products to exact company and customer specifications

- Maintaining vibrant displays: keep fresh fish displays well-stocked, fresh, and attractive throughout the trading day

- Keeping operations safe and legal: follow all safe and legal guidelines, managing temperature controls, COSHH chemicals, PPE, and allergen procedures

- Delivering friendly, helpful service that highlights traditional skills and shares specialist preparation and cooking advice to help build sales

To be considered for this role, you should:

- Have competent fishmongery skills, including cleaning, preparing, filleting, pin boning, scaling, skinning, and gutting products to customer satisfaction

- Be comfortable with physical activity in a fast-paced environment and confident using department equipment and tools safely

- Enjoy helping people and be friendly, approachable, and energised by customer interaction

- Be able to work well as part of a team, sharing ideas, supporting colleagues, and taking a practical approach to stock rotation, date checking, and minimising waste
